John Cho is the Chief Stablecoin Officer (CSO) at Kaia DLT Foundation, a non-profit organization established to accelerate the global adoption and ecosystem maturity of the Kaia blockchain. In his current role, John leads Kaia’s stablecoin strategy, focusing on real-world use cases, ecosystem partnerships, and scalable adoption across key markets.Previously, John served as Vice President of Partnerships and Vice President of Marketing Communications at Kaia, where he led major brand and ecosystem expansion initiatives for both Kaia and Klaytn, Kaia’s predecessor chain prior to its merger with LINE’s Finschia blockchain. He played a key role in the successful brand transition from Klaytn and Finschia to Kaia, driving integrated go-to-market and creative execution. Before joining the Kaia Foundation, John held the position of Director of Marketing Communications at Ground X, a blockchain-focused subsidiary of Kakao Corporation, South Korea’s largest messaging platform. He also spent ten years spearheading global digital marketing and data initiatives for LG Electronics as the Data and Platform Team Lead at HS Ad, LG’s in-house global advertising agency. John’s diverse career also includes roles in the energy sector and investment banking, where he held associate positions.
