Joy Lam is the founder of Clarient Advisory, a specialist advisory firm at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets. She advises asset managers, financial institutions, and high growth Web3 projects on regulatory strategy, tokenization, product design, and cross border execution. Joy serves on Hong Kong’s Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development and works closely with regulators and industry leaders across major global hubs. Joy brings policy insight, crypto native experience, and deep legal expertise. She was previously Head of Global Regulatory at Binance and before that was a partner at international law firms. She has led first-of-their-kind initiatives across the digital asset ecosystem—from tokenized funds and tokenized real estate structures to Web3 VC launches, virtual asset licensing wins, structured products, and strategic transactions across global markets. She is recognized globally for her expertise, including a Band 1 ranking in Chambers FinTech 2024 and “Rising Star” recognition by China Business Law Journal.
