Since joining Nomura Securities in 2012, he has built a career spanning the Legal Division (M&A and Japan–U.S. disclosure) and the M&A Advisory Department. In December 2021, he joined the Corporate Planning Division of SBI Securities, where he led M&A execution and post-merger integration (PMI) across the SBI Group. Over a three-year period, he successfully closed ten M&A transactions, primarily in the Web3 and financial services sectors.

Since 2024, he has also been involved in the management of multiple SBI Group companies. He currently serves as CEO of HashHub, a Web3 research firm; Director of CoinPost, which operates Japan’s largest Web3 conference, WebX, as well as a leading Web3 media platform; and Secretary-General of the Japan Digital Economy Federation.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Keio University and an LL.M. from Northwestern University.
