Tatsuya Yamada has been engaged in financial services for approximately 30 years, specializing in securities, commodities, and FX. His primary focus has been on fund formation and domestic and international derivative transactions. In 2008, he joined Newedge Group from Société Générale, where he was responsible for derivative transactions. After joining Rakuten Securities in 2013, he actively promoted new service planning in corporate transactions, equity finance, and the FinTech division. In 2018, he was appointed President of Rakuten Wallet, Inc., where he spearheaded the launch of Rakuten Group's crypto asset exchange business and web3 initiatives. He also serves as a Director of the Japan Crypto Asset Business Association.
