Ahmed Nimale is the Co-Founder and CEO of TIX backed by a16z crypto, the financial settlement infrastructure transforming how live-event ticketing and financing work, and KYD Labs, the first production platform built on TIX. As CEO, he leads the company’s mission to unlock liquidity for venues, enable transparent, real-time payouts for artists, and allow ticketing platforms to compete on product rather than control of capital. Under Ahmed’s leadership, TIX has powered over 300,000 tickets, handled $8M+ in ticket sales, and originated $2M in venue financing with zero defaults via KYD, demonstrating the model in-market today by handling ticketing, distribution, and venue financing entirely on TIX’s payment rails. Prior to TIX/KYD, Ahmed held senior leadership roles at Live Nation Entertainment and Vivid Seats, gaining deep insight into ticketing operations, liquidity flows, and the constraints of legacy systems. He also worked held leadership roles at Yelp, developing consumer-facing marketplace platforms that inform his approach to scalable, user-first live-event infrastructure.
