Benjamin Celermajer is the CEO of Synthetix and has been a major contributor to the DeFi ecosystem for more than 8 years. His involvement with Synthetix dates back to its early days as a seed investor in 2017. Since it’s inception, Benjamin has played a pivotal role in the protocol’s evolution and renaissance, including the launch of a new delegated staking system and the return to Ethereum Mainnet—repositioning Synthetix as the canonical perp DEX on the Ethereum L1. Beyond Synthetix, Benjamin is the Founder of Magnet Capital, an Australian-based investment firm focused on crypto assets, and brings prior experience in asset management, product roles at Coin Metrics, and education from MIT Sloan School of Management.
