Dave LaValle

David LaValle is President of CoinDesk Indices and Data, a portfolio company of Bullish Group, a leading institutional digital asset trading platform. LaValle has over two decades of experience across both traditional financial services and digital assets, with a track record of leadership in executive roles and business expansion.

Previously, LaValle served as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of ETFs at Grayscale Investments, was Chief Executive Officer of VettaFi (formerly Alerian), and held senior leadership roles at State Street Global Advisors and Nasdaq.

A graduate of Georgetown University (BA), LaValle began his career in trading on the floors of the New York and American Stock Exchanges before moving into senior leadership roles across the financial industry. He served on the board of the Security Traders Association of New York (STANY) and currently sits on the advisory board of the Wall Street Rides FAR charity initiative.
