Greg Li is the Head of Asia Pacific for The Bitfury Group, one of the original Bitcoin miners and the company that started the ASIC mining industry. Bitfury has evolved into a global technology incubator shaping the next generation of ethical innovation. Bitfury builds and funds companies in web3, AI and sustainable computing to foster a human-centered resilient future. Mr. Li has many years of management, strategy and business development experience in the hi-tech and financial services industries. He has extensive experience in pioneering the development of new and cutting-edge services and solutions, including blockchain, cryptocurrency, reinsurance, telecom infrastructure, network security and more. He is now heavily involved in scaling Gonka.ai, a decentralized open-source AI protocol based on proof-of-work processing. Mr. Li has served as the Executive Director of the Li Xing Foundation, a non-profit education foundation for indigent children in China. He has an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s degree in Buddhism from the University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. He is also a passionate yoga practitioner.
