Patrick Chang is Founder and Managing Partner of Dispersion Capital, an early-stage venture firm focused on decentralized infrastructure for AI-native systems. He has been investing in crypto and distributed systems since 2014 and brings over two decades of experience across enterprise and infrastructure software. Patrick was an early or seed investor in companies including Alchemy, Dapper Labs, Flow, Blockstack, Helium/Nova Labs, Kite AI, 0g, Volterra, and Branch Metrics, among others. He has held senior investing roles at Bain Capital Ventures, Foundation Capital, and Samsung NEXT. His current work focuses on coordination layers, verifiable compute, and the infrastructure required for autonomous agents and open intelligence networks, and he advises founders and institutions on the future architecture of global computing especially AI, crypto, and edge computing convergence.
